An independent precious metals research publication. We are not a dealer. We do not sell gold, silver, or any other metal. We exist to give investors the information dealers will not.
What We Are
Minted Metal is an editorially independent research publication covering precious metals investing. We publish dealer reviews, IRA company evaluations, market analysis, and investment guides across gold, silver, platinum, palladium, and rhodium.
We operate as a brand-authored publication, similar to Consumer Reports or Wirecutter. Every review, guide, and analysis represents the publication's collective research, not one person's opinion. This model lets us maintain consistency across hundreds of pieces of content and hold every recommendation to the same standard.
What We Do
We place real orders with every dealer we review. We track premiums over LBMA spot prices weekly. We test customer service by phone and email, evaluate shipping speed, and verify buyback programs firsthand.
We aggregate public review data from the BBB, Trustpilot, and Google Reviews. We cross-reference regulatory filings. When we say a dealer is good or bad, we have the data to back it up.
Our current coverage includes 5 metals, 13 dealers, 5 IRA companies, and over 100 investment guides. Every piece of content is reviewed against our published methodology before publication.
Independence
Minted Metal is not affiliated with any dealer, mint, custodian, or financial institution. We have no ownership ties to any company we review.
Revenue comes from affiliate commissions when readers visit dealers through our links. These commissions never influence our ratings, rankings, or editorial decisions. Dealers cannot pay for favorable coverage. We disclose all affiliate relationships on every page where they apply. Full details are available on our disclosures page.
Editorial Standards
Every piece of content must be factually accurate, genuinely useful, and free from undisclosed bias. We correct errors promptly and transparently. Our editorial policy governs how we handle corrections, conflicts of interest, and content updates.
